Outreach

We passionately lead Brookside Church beyond our doors to help fulfill the Great Commission cross-culturally. We seek to give support to Brookside’s missionaries, educate and motivate the Brookside Family toward passionate involvement in cross-cultural outreach by praying, giving, going, and encouraging.

Woodburn Christian Children's Home

The Woodburn Christian Children's home is a ministry of combined Christian churches begun in 1972. The mission is to provide a Christian home for children with special needs and to minister to children and families on physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual levels. It has provided a home for those who are homeless and a stable family for those who come from a broken family.

Rescue Mission and Charis House.

The Rescue Mission and Charis House offer short- and long-term housing for the homeless. The programs at the Mission and the Charis House focus on balanced living, healthy interpersonal relationships, life skills, recovery dynamics, and a relationship with Christ to promote life change.

Active Missionaries

  • The Mortons

    Partnered with European Christian Mission International (ECMI) to initiate church planting in Albania. Church planting allows the saving gospel of Jesus Christ to spread through communities making disciples who make disciples.

  • The Hirschelmans

    Serving at Grace International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Grace International School serves the children of Christian workers in South East Asia. Bob serves as an athletic trainer and physical education teacher at the school.

  • The Yoders

    Shawn and Julie serve with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) and reach college students with the gospel by serving and developing Cru staff across the United States. Shawn serves as the Mission Trip Finance Team Leader, and Julie in Leadership Development.

    They reside in Noblesville, Indiana with their two young daughters, Leah and Norah.
