  • What is a Community Life Group?

    Community Groups meet during the week around our city to live out the way of Jesus together. A Community Life Group is a place where you can be known and loved by God, and by your brothers and sisters in Jesus. These communities are always open to newcomers.

  • What are the benefits of joining a Community Life Group?

    There are many benefits to being a part of a Community life group, including but not limited to: 

    1. Having a support system ~ When we have others who are walking with us on our journey, it helps us stay on a path towards being more like Jesus.

    2. Growing in discipleship ~ Community life groups provide an opportunity for Christians to learn from one another.

    3. Fellowshipping with other believers ~ Spending time with other Christians is a great way to encourage one another and build relationships that can last a lifetime. 

    4. Prayer support ~ When we pray with others, our prayers are often more powerful than when we pray alone. 

  • How do I start a community Life Group?

    The first step is to let our team know that you are interested. Once our team sees that you have completed the signup form, one of our team members will reach out to you and talk through questions you might have; they ultimately want to hear your heart for your proposed group. We also require that you attend one of our community life group informational meetings.

  • How often do Community Life Groups meet?

    You can meet weekly, or once a month - it's up to you and your Group.

  • How do I find a group in my area?

  • How does the Community Life Group decide on what to do/study?

    That is up to the group leaders, typically. Still, If they require help finding a topic or need additional training on facilitating a conversation within a group environment, we can assist with that.  

  • Is food required to host a group?

    We love to see groups eat together but that is not a requirement.

  • Can we host a Community Life group at the church during the week?

    The church is available for groups to use but, a facility request is required. 

  • Why are community life groups different than bible studies?

    Bible Studies meet seasonal and are very specific to a topic with a set end date.

    Community Life Groups are designed to be very flexible and open-ended with no set end date.

  • Is child care provided?

    That is up to the group leaders and how they would like to facilitate the need for child care.
